Ingredients:
For the Burger Patties:
- 1.5 pounds ground beef (75% lean)
- 3 tablespoons of Hunter’s Texas Seasoning
- 3 Tablespoons of Hunter’s Smoked Rub
- 4 sesame seed hamburger buns
For Assembly:
- 4 slices of (Boars Head) Cheddar cheese
- Hunter’s Mid-West Cowboy Sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Pickles (optional)
- Lettuce and tomato slices (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Burger Patties:
- Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Create a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
- Cook the Burger Patties:
- Preheat your stovetop pan to medium-high heat.
- Season the ground beef with Hunter’s Smoked Rub and Hunter’s Texas Seasoning. (2/1 Ratio - Smoked Rub to Texas Seasoning)
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until your desired level of doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty, covering to melt.
- Assemble the Hunter's Burger Sauce:.
- Mix the Mid-West Cowboy Sauce with your favorite mayo with a 2 to 1 ratio (2 Sauce/1 Mayo) and mix it together.
- Spread the Hunter's burger sauce on the top and bottom bun.
- Serve and Enjoy these best burgers:
- Serve your onion burgers immediately while they are hot and juicy.
- Optionally, add pickles, lettuce, and tomato slices.
