Ingredients:

For the Burger Patties:

1.5 pounds ground beef (75% lean)
3 tablespoons of Hunter’s Texas Seasoning
3 Tablespoons of Hunter’s Smoked Rub
4 sesame seed hamburger buns

For Assembly:

4 slices of (Boars Head) Cheddar cheese
Hunter’s Mid-West Cowboy Sauce
Mayonnaise
Pickles (optional)
Lettuce and tomato slices (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the Burger Patties:

Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Create a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cook the Burger Patties:

Preheat your stovetop pan to medium-high heat.
Season the ground beef with Hunter’s Smoked Rub and Hunter’s Texas Seasoning. (2/1 Ratio - Smoked Rub to Texas Seasoning)
Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until your desired level of doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty, covering to melt.

Assemble the Hunter's Burger Sauce:.

Mix the Mid-West Cowboy Sauce with your favorite mayo with a 2 to 1 ratio (2 Sauce/1 Mayo) and mix it together.
Spread the Hunter's burger sauce on the top and bottom bun.
