3 Quick Tips for Sweet & Spicy Mustard Seared Chicken
1. Marinate for Optimal Flavor: For the best flavor, let the chicken marinate in the mixture of Hunter’s Caribbean Mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar for at least 30 minutes. If possible, marinate for a few hours or overnight to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat more deeply.
2. Use a Meat Thermometer: To ensure your chicken is perfectly cooked and juicy, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The chicken should reach 165°F (74°C). This helps prevent overcooking and keeps the chicken tender.
3. Rest the Chicken Before Serving: After grilling or searing, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and moist chicken.
